Emotions are a fundamental part of any human being. The inner peace and growth of any person occurs by recognizing, accepting and externalizing his/her emotions. Throughout my life, photography has been the only place where I can take refuge to contact with my inner and emotional part to later translate it into images.
The world of emotions is wide and universal. We all have experienced pleasant and unpleasant feelings throughout our lives. Inner facades is a fine art photographic project through which I show my emotions using chairs that represent myself or someone with whom I have shared an emotion.
Through viewing the work, my hope is the viewer will identify him or herself with some of the emotions presented in the images.
